Sessions To meet the above goals, your organization needs an understanding of delegation and work-flow. The Work Flow Improvement Program is divided into six sessions. Most sessions should take approximately 2 hours to complete. However, two of the core sessions will take longer. Since each organization is different, and starts with a different knowledge base, the program may take more or less time. However, the more time you put into the program, the higher the probability of success. The six sessions cover:
Most Quality or Documentation Standards (e.g, ISO 9000) require that you document your processes (Say what you do) and adhere to that documentation during process implementation (Do what you say). Work Process Flow ChartsTM and the associated Work Instructions and Procedures are an invaluable method for achieving these goals.
To work with Work Process Flow ChartsTM requires the purchase of Microsoft Visio© software (Standard Edition is fine), available at most computer stores, on-line at www.visio.com/msvisio, or through Visio Corporation in Seattle, Washington. The software is easy and intuitive to use, and Deltapro will download an electronic copy of the templates you will need to create your own set of Work Process Flow ChartsTM.
